Come out and mingle with new faculty and online & on-campus students as we kick off the 2012-2013 school year. The event will be outside on Pizza Rustica’s porch and pizza and beer will be served.

AAGA Fall Speaker Series

The conversation will focus on the organizations and institutions beyond Center City and the Avenue of the Arts that make up Philadelphia’s unique cultural character, which is extremely diverse in events, programs, and opportunities. This will be an introduction to the heterogeneity of Philadelphia’s arts and culture sector and an opportunity to talk about how these organizations serve their neighborhoods and the region, and the challenges they face to show the everyday realities.

This advocacy filled evening will be the first mentor/ mentee event of the school year. Special guest Jenny Hershour, Citizens for the Arts in Pennsylvania will give a crash course in arts advocacy in a fun and relaxed setting. Reception to follow at Landmark Americana.
