AAGA Speaker Series Presents: How National Arts Advocacy Inspires Local Change
Following this recap of Arts Advocacy Day will be a presentation by alumni Amy Scheidegger (2011). Over the past months, Amy has been working on The Artists Rebuttal Book Project. What started as a personal response to an attack on the arts has turned into a true grassroots arts advocacy initiative.
Capping off the evening will be an opportunity to network with a variety of students, alumni of our program, artists and professionals from Philadelphia’s arts and culture sector. Light refreshments will be served and this will be an entertaining way to spend an evening reminiscing or learning about advocacy and Arts Advocacy Day as well as meet fellow supporters of the arts.
